One Step Towards Tribal Women Employment

Kandil-Dhruv is a triangular akash kandil built on a bamboo frame, named for the steady, guiding light of the Pole Star. Its pyramid form is hand-shaped by tribal women artisans of Maharashtra using the same natural-bamboo technique as the rest of the collection.

Key Features of Kandil-Dhruv:

• 100% Pure Bamboo Frame: A light, triangular structure with a strong festive silhouette.

• Vibrant Natural Colours: Earthy tones that suit both indoor and outdoor Diwali display.

• Handcrafted by Tribal Women Artisans: Supports women artisan livelihoods in rural Maharashtra.

About Kandil-Dhruv:

As a second akash kandil option alongside the Mangal Kandil, Kandil-Dhruv gives shoppers searching for an akash kandil a distinct triangular silhouette to choose from – handmade, sustainable, and rooted in tribal bamboo craft.
Note: LED bulb is not included with this Kandil. Please purchase the bulb separately.
